How to Register

  1. Deadline for registration and submission of abstracts: by 22 May, 2025
    Submissions must use the abstract template available for download below.
    For registration and abstract submission, please use the form below and select your preferred parallel session track. Please note that the organisers may allocate your presentation to other tracks or merge several tracks based on submissions.
  2. Notification of acceptance: within 3 days from submission
    You will receive a confirmation e-mail with instructions on how to complete your Extended Registration form and a link to pay the conference fee (due by 26 May, 2025).
  3. When completing the Extended Registration form, you will have the option to select your preferred journal for publishing your Full Paper.
    Please note that selection does not guarantee publication of your Full Paper. Publications are subject to a double-blind peer review. Please learn about publication options and requirements below.
  4. Full papers for selected journals should be submitted by July 3, 2025 and will be subject to double-blind peer review.

Conference Fees for Presenting Authors

N.B. Pending the acceptance of the submitted abstract

  • RISEBA / BA / SSE Riga Staff and Students: Free participation
  • PhD/Master Students from other schools: EUR 100 + VAT
    This special discounted rate includes presentation at the conference and attendance of the Doctoral Seminar in person or online.
  • Regular rate for in-person participation with presentation: EUR 160 + VAT
    Includes Plenary Session attendance with lunch and dinner, a presentation at the Parallel Session, including a publication in the Conference proceedings.
  • Regular rate for online participation with presentation:  EUR 120 + VAT
    Includes online access to the Plenary Session and online presentation at the Parallel Session, including a publication in the Conference proceedings.

Guidelines for Abstract and Proceedings Paper Submission

Authors must supply a structured abstract set out under 4-7 sub-headings (in max 250 words):

  • Purpose (compulsory) – What are the reason(s) for writing the paper or the aims of the research.
  • Design / methodology / approach (mandatory) – How are the objectives achieved? Include the main method(s) used for the research. What is the approach to the topic and what is the theoretical or subject scope of the paper?
  • Findings (compulsory) – What was found in the course of the work? This will refer to analysis, discussion, or results.
  • Research limitations / implications (if applicable) – If research is reported on in the paper this section must be completed and should include suggestions for future research and any identified limitations in the research process.
  • Practical implications (if applicable) – What outcomes and implications for practice, applications and consequences are identified? How will the research impact upon the business or enterprise? What changes to practice should be made as a result of this research? What is the commercial or economic impact? Not all papers will have practical implications.
  • Originality / value (compulsory) – What is new in the paper? State the value of the paper and to whom.
  • Keywords – please provide up to six keywords which encapsulate the principal topics of the paper. Using keywords is a vital part of abstract writing, because of the practice of retrieving information electronically: keywords act as the search term.
